How do we form a new USA Dance Chapter here?
A chapter can be formed anywhere in the USA where there are willing volunteers to make it happen. To discuss what is required to form a new group, contact our central office for more information.
We already have a dance club – can we become a chapter?
An existing dance club can become a USA Dance chapter and enjoy the many benefits of affiliation with our organization. Contact our central office for more information on requirements to change from an independent club to a USA Dance chapter.
Independent Dance Club- how to be listed on the USA Dance website?
Clubs that support the aims and objectives of USA Dance, including ballroom, salsa, Argentine Tango, mambo, country, hustle, swing, polka, round dance, formation teams, drill teams and other dances in which couples dance together are encouraged to register with us under the Dance Industry category. For a modest annual fee, your club will be listed on our website and in one issue of the Marketplace section of our national magazine, American Dancer. What is a Retail Organization?
Businesses, usually involved in ballroom dance or in the sale of dance related products or services, who wish to support the aims and objectives of USA Dance. This would include dance studios, instructors, DJ's, clothing designers, retail distributors, dance related travel, video etc. For a modest annual fee, your organization will be listed on our website as well as in one issue of the Marketplace section of our national magazine, American Dancer. How can I find out where to take ballroom dance lessons?

How can I find a dance partner?
USA Dance does not have a partner exchange or locator service. It is suggested you make your search efforts known to your instructor, dancing friends and to officers and members of your local USA Dance Chapter. You could also try a general websearch under “ballroom dance partner search” – there are a number of links that come up that might be helpful.
Where can I find a current syllabus?
Syllabus or list of approved fundamental dance figures for the various proficiency levels in both American & International Styles is available for download courtesy of U. S. Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance on our website in the DanceSport section. Or, you can visit their website – www.usistd.org
Where can I purchase instructional videos and dance related products.
