USA Dance has the responsibility to regulate DanceSport in the U.S. For this purpose, there are a number of committees created to focus on specific aspects of DanceSport competition.
Certification Committee
Chair: Wayne Crowder, ds-certification@usadance.org
The Certification Committee is responsible for processing applications from USA Dance members who wish to use their dance skills to offset their dance related expenses without jeopardizing their Amateur Status.
Eligibility & Profiency Points Committee
Chair: Ava Kaye, ds-eligibility@usadance.org
The Eligibility Committee is responsible for processing issues related to Eligibility for the National Championships. Questions relating to Proficiency Points should be directed to this email as well.
Competition Committee
Co-Chairs Roger Greenawalt & Daphna Locker, ds-competition@usadance.org
The Competition Committee is responsible for regulating Dancesport Competitions and providing assistance to competition organizers.
Rules, Reinstatement & Discipline Committee
Chair: Ray Kaufman, ds-rules@usadance.org
The Rules Committee is primarily responsible for answering questions about and proposing changes to the USA Dance Rulebook. Interested persons who wish to have a rule in the Rulebook explained and/or changed should contact the Chair of the committee. Further, this committee is responsible for processing applications from former Professionals who wish to be reinstated as Amateur Competitors, investigating complaints against Amateur Competitors, and evaluating requests from Amateur Competitors who wish to engage in restricted activities.
Sports Liaison Committee

The Sports Liaison Committee is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with all USA Olympic sports organizations which encourage DanceSport.
Anti-Doping Committee
Chair: Carol Post, ds-antidoping@usadance.org
The Anti-Doping Committee is responsible for formulating, implementing, and administering the USA Dance anti-doping rules.
National Championships Organizing Committee

The National Championships Organizing Committee is primarily responsible for facilitating and administering the USA Dance National Championships.

The Active Athletes Network, the "AAN" is the voice of all competitors to the leadership of USA Dance. Email them about what is important to you in the world of USA Dance and competitive dancing and what you would like us to work on. We will prioritize feedback and work on select projects.
