How do we form a new USA Dance Chapter here?
A chapter can be formed anywhere in the USA where there are willing volunteers to make it happen. To discuss what is required to form a new group, contact our central office for more information.
We already have a dance club – can we become a USA Dance chapter?
An existing dance club can become a USA Dance chapter and enjoy the many benefits of affiliation with our organization. Contact our central office for more information on requirements to change from an independent club to a USA Dance chapter.
Independent Dance Club - how to be listed on the USA Dance website?
As part of our effort to serve as an information resource for dancers in the USA, we encourage Independent Dance Clubs that support the aims and objectives of USA Dance to register with us as a Dance Enterprise/Retail Organization. This includes clubs for ballroom, salsa, Argentine Tango, mambo, country, hustle, swing, polka, round dance, formation teams, drill teams and other dances in which couples dance together. For one annual fee, your club will be listed on our website under Dance Enterprise/Retail Organization and listed once during the year in our national publication, American Dancer in their Marketplace section. What is a Retail Organization?
A Retail Organization member is an organization, usually a business involved in ballroom dance or in the sale of ballroom dance products or services, that is not eligible or desirous of membership in any other category but wishes to support the aims and objectives of USA Dance.
Retail Organization members, and the type of products or services they provide, will be listed on our website under Dance Enterprise/Retail Organizations. We also ask our USA Dance chapters to list local Retail Organization members in their newsletters. To join as an Retail Organization Member, visit the membership section under Dance Industry.
How can I find out where to take ballroom dance lessons?

How can I find a dance partner?
USA Dance does not have a partner exchange or locator service. It is suggested you make your search efforts known to your instructor, dancing friends and to officers and members of your local USA Dance Chapter. You could also try a general websearch under “ballroom dance partner search” – there are a number of links that come up that might be helpful.
