Why USA Dance?
We are the Recognized Sport Organization under the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee umbrella engaging social and competitive dance communities. We inspire and enable a lifetime of health through the joy of dance. We help people discover their inner beauty, artistry and strength through dance.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to improve the quality and quantity of dance in the United States. USA Dance, Inc. is the Recognized Sport Organization for DanceSport in the United States with approximately 150 chapters throughout the country and is the representative organization for all competitive, sports for all, social and recreational dancers in America, ranging from pre-schoolers to seniors. The music starts. Donny & Dinah walk onto the floor for their wedding waltz. All eyes are watching. Suddenly, he can't remember the choreography. Disaster. But, they practiced religiously for months. What went wrong? Donny and Dinah experienced a lapse of concentration. Mental-training skills (a.k.a. sport psychology) would have helped them to refocus after the distraction.  Chuck Garrett
